Welcome back! I hope 2019 is starting off well, with health, joy, and love.
Mark 11:22-23
“So Jesus answered and said to them, Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”
While driving yesterday, I received a notification on my phone. My older sister and best friend in my head, First Lady/Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts preaching was available. Since her Woman Evolve podcast is not back yet, I was ecstatic to hear a word from her. After Pastor Sarah gave an incredible word from the Lord, her husband Pastor Toure Roberts came and took over to pray and he said, “when the moment of transition, the moment of you moving to the next level, there is always going to be a purification of the tongue, a purification of your mouth, a purification of your language. And so it’s already done but I think that when you say it, when you say it, it’s going to break” (referencing Isaiah 6:6).
God warns us multiple time about our tongue. Matthew 15:11 states, “Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out the mouth, this defiles a man.” Proverbs 18:21 also states, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who live it will eat its fruits.” With our tongue/mouth, we can either speak life into our environment and situations or death, it all depends on us. Therefore, speak positivity in the atmosphere about your life and environment.
I started this mindset last year, where I speak positivity into the atmosphere, even when I don’t feel confident. And when my mind tries to tell me otherwise, I will say something positive aloud to position myself in a positive, faithfilled environment.
When Jesus was healing, raise the dead, and gave sight, a lot of God’s wonder happened because Jesus spoke. Think about it, how did God create the earth? “Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light” Genesis 1:3. What God did after creating heavens and earth was he spoke light into existence and everything else. What am trying to let you know is, you have the power to speak blessings over your life and other people’s lives. The same authority you have been given by God through Jesus to overcome all powers of the enemy (Luke 10:19) is the same authority you have to speak life into your situation. Have faith in 2019, that through Christ Jesus that NOTHING formed against you shall prosper. That you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are victorious and more than a conqueror because He lives. Therefore, whatever situation that arise this year, have faith and speak to your situation, speak into your life. When anxiety tries to get a hold of you, you look it right in the eyes and you said to it, “Not today! you have no place in my life!” Believe that God has already gone ahead of you and has taken hold of your situation. Therefore with faith speak to whatever is in your way because it has been already taken care of. And God is waiting for you to give it life with faith through your words.
I want you to remember, you are loved. The creator loves you unconditionally and cares for you. You’ve got this. Faith it and speak positivity into your life.
My prayer is that the Lord will give you the confidence and faith to speak into your situations because when you speak into your situation in faith and confidence, you are able to overcome any situation, for He has given you authority. I also pray, the Lord, to help you use your words for good and not evil. To build people up and to not tear them down. Fill you up until you are overflowing with the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name. Amen!
