Welcome 😃

Hi

I want to personally welcome you all to Sweet Honeycomb🐝.

Why Sweet Honeycomb?

On August 2018, I had a strong feeling to start a blog. I researched the necessary process needed to start the blog and put it in the back of my mind. On October 7, an elder in my church preached a sermon titled, “My God-given purpose (Vision)” and the feeling of starting this blog came back. It felt like God was talking to me, through the preacher to start the blog. In the sermon, he mentioned there is never a right time to start a vision that God has given you. But to take a leap of faith and do it and God will take care of the rest. So here I am, taking a leap of faith.

During the sermon, while listening to God speak to me, the words “sweet honeycomb” came to me. And I remember the bible verse, Proverbs 16:24, one of my favorite bible verse. It states “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones” (NKJV). And I knew it was time for me to begin this vision God has given me.

Purpose of Sweet Honeycomb

Sweet Honeycomb is for everyone who needs encouragement and understanding of God’s word. For Jesus said in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” In addition, the word through Apostle Paul tells us that to preach the gospel to the world, we must do as Jesus Christ did when on Earth. To not discriminate and welcome people in our lives so they may see Christ in you, who is the link to God. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 states, “Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law, I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law, I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.”

I pray and hope God will reveal himself through his words and guide you during your time at Sweet Honeycomb.

Thank you and stay blessed.
